Dani & Drew were married on April 27th, at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, MD. Their reception was held in the new Garden Room at the Beach Club which is stunning! Wait until you see the floral ceremony arch Vintage by Design put together! This has to be the most teary eyed wedding I’ve shot to date. Both sides of the family were emotional all day long, and I’ve got to be honest, it made me tear up a couple times too! I love when a family isn’t afraid to show how they truly feel about the bride and groom.
Laura & Dan were married on April 6th, 2019 at the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Fells Point, Baltimore. It was literally the perfect spring day.. sunny and 70 degrees! So grateful for that considering last spring was so wet and rainy! Laura & Dan chose a classic, elegant, black tie theme for their wedding. I loved that Dan wore a hunter green coat jacket! So stylish and different! Laura’s veil was handmade by her coworker and her bridal portrait in the grand stairway is stunning.
ANOTHER AMAZING YEAR! 😀 Gosh we are so darn thankful! 19 weddings and about 40 portrait sessions.. we were busy! 18 weddings were ours and then Kira had the honor of shooting one with Davey from Krista Jones Photography. We also had the honor of doing our first destination wedding in Jamaica! We did a bubble gum styled shoot at Prism in Annapolis and that was a BLAST.
Guys. I am SO thankful I had opportunity to shoot our first destination wedding in JAMAICA last weekend! Courtney & Jeff were married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites which was GORGEOUS! All the tropical feels! <3 Courtney is so fabulous she had a ceremony and a reception dress and she wore her reception dress the following more to do a sunrise shoot in the water.. SWOON!
Ashley & Cory were married on June 1st at Dulany’s Overlook in Frederick, MD. Once again, the weather was calling for rain, but ALAS, it didn’t rain all day and we had a sunset! It is so magical to shoot a bride and groom on their wedding day in golden hour. My heart just swells! Ashley & Cory had a great group of people surrounding them all day and they all rocked out together on the dance floor at the end of the night.
Although I am not the best at taking behind the scene shots I am always so grateful for the shots we do have at the end of the year! It sparks so many fun memories and reminds me of how much we love this business of ours!
We are so excited we were able to do 4 videos for our wedding planning vlog series and share so many helpful tips for brides planning their wedding! We are going to wrap up the series by sharing the highlights from those videos and sharing 2 more bonus tips! And these tips are for all those groom-to-be’s out there! Don’t worry.. you can see the first 3 by clicking here and the last one by clicking here!
Carly & Patrick were married on a late summer day in downtown Annapolis at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. The jade blue they used throughout their wedding attire and decor matched the tranquil water of Chesapeake Bay. Carly had the cutest little crab charm from her grandmother’s charm bracelet pinned into her dress. Carly’s mother gave her the first ring her dad gave her as a wedding day gift.
From start to finish, Miranda and Zach’s wedding day was picture perfect. Literally. We were a little nervous about the weather, but a quick summer storm passed just in time for their stunning outdoor ceremony! Miranda had the most fabulous pink high heels and Zach’s french fry socks were pretty sweet too.
