Emily & Josh had a William Paca House and Gardens wedding on May 17, 2019 in Annapolis, MD.
Emily put so much time and thought into planning her wedding day. I admire brides who really work hard to make it everything they’ve envisioned! She incorporated two of her grandmother’s pieces of jewelry into her bridal look.. both earrings and a necklace! Emily’s family is really close (she has 4 sister’s and a brother) so I could tell family was an important part of their day.
I love that the girls fastened bonnets into their hair for the ceremony. It was so unique and looked stunning! Their bonnets matched their dresses perfectly!
Josh was blown away by Emily’s wedding day gift.. a vintage pocket watch that is 100 years old! Josh actually traveled the furtherst to attend his wedding.. all the way from Spain! He is stationed there with the US Navy. They were able to do the the infamous sword entrance during their into to their reception.
My favorite moment from the day was when Josh’s sister sung a song to the newlyweds at the reception. She sung it beautifully and Emily & Josh were able to slow dance and enjoy the moment together.
The gardens at the Paca House remind me of Alice in Wonderland and we took many beautiful portraits. There is an arch in the garden that is covered in greenery and that was one of my favorite spots to shoot.
I hope you enjoy a little glimpse of this William Paca House wedding! <3
