We have so many beautiful Annapolis weddings to share with you from the 2020 wedding season!
I love to catch up on blogging in the off season when we aren’t shooting as much.
It’s no secret that 2020 was a wild year for the wedding industry. None of our weddings turned out the way they were originally planned. However, they were all incredible. My favorite part of last year’s wedding season was that even though the weddings were scaled back and simple, they were just as emotional and special. I am teary thinking about how well my brides adjusted and enjoyed their modified wedding days!
Melissa & Daniel decided to get married at Daniel’s dad’s church with just their families. Melissa got ready at her parent’s house and the small reception was at Daniel’s parent’s house. They had a drive by reception at the church once they had some time with family after the wedding.
You will see so many couples getting ready in their homes and I get teary (again) thinking about how special these images will be down the road. When they are reminded of these homes looking at their images and all the sweet memories these homes held!
I am also proud by how gorgeous the detail and getting ready shots turned out this year even though we weren’t in fancy venues or hotels! We got creative with couches, rugs, mirrors, and of course some natural light.
I loved seeing how much Daniel & Melissa loved their nieces and nephews (9 at the time I believe) and how much the kiddos loved them! Family was the most important part of their wedding day. What a treasure.
I hope you enjoy a glimpse into this gorgeous wedding day!
We can’t wait to share some more 2020 Annapolis weddings with you all!
