A Walker’s Overlook Wedding that took place on a warm August day in Frederick, Maryland!
Amanda and Austin had to move their wedding back a couple months, but I was so thankful they still had the wedding of their dreams at the end of last summer.
These two were together for eight years before they tied the knot. Austin bravely and loyaly stuck by Amanda’s side as she continued her fight with childhood cancer. What an inspiration she is to all that know her! Amanda now works at Hopkins as a nurse in the pediatric oncology unit.
They both had several family members and friends at the wedding in support of their love and life together. I love that Amanda is close to all 3 of her sisters! What a sweet and fun group. All four of Austin’s nephews were there as well and they had all had a blast together on the dance floor.
Amanda had some pretty adorable flower girls as well! They were both girls she used to babysit.
They used a beautiful pastel blue color with pops of orange. Perfect for a bright, summer wedding!
One of my favorite moments was at the end of Amanda’s first dance with her dad and they asked her sisters and their mom to join them on the dance floor. So much love and adoration for one another.
