Katie & Jarod chose black & gold as their wedding colors. The outfits, flowers, and hair and make-up matched the exact colors and decor of the Belvedere Hotel.
Timeless, classic, elegant are all words that come to mind for this wedding! The vibe said Great Gatsby for sure.
Katie and her bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and aunts all got ready in Katie’s childhood home. The vibe was comfortable and relaxed.. no extra stress for this bride-to-be! It was special to have so many ladies Katie is close with help her with the finishing touches of getting ready.
Jarod and his groomsmen got ready in Downtown Baltimore so they could get some waterfront pictures before the ceremony. The for sure had the same vibe going on!
I love that most of the pictures from this day feel organic and relaxed to match the actual feel of the wedding day.
We found a gorgeous wood door right down the street from the venue that we used for portraits. Those images are stunning!
A highlight from this wedding day that stood out to me was at the reception when a friend of Jarod’s talked about the fallen table that was set up right next to Jarod and Katie’s table. He explained each part of the set up and talked about the significance. It was a beautiful way to honor those who have lost their lives serving our country.
